Project FARM IT, Financial Assistance, Risk Management and Information Technology, provides educational and technical assistance to small scale farmers and ranchers. The goal of this project is to assist agricultural producers to increase farm profitability through better management techniques. The project assists participants in the loan application process and teaches producers financial decision making techniques. Through this project, agricultural producers develop computer skills, learn various methods to maintain farm records, and are exposed to various methods that can be used to market their products.
